So many of us push through our days overwhelmed, frustrated and stressed because our to-do lists are too long, we’re hitting mental brick walls, the world is chaotic…
(I could go on and on…)
We try to logic or intellectualize our way through it. And that just works like a short-term band-aid.
Why?
Because there’s a missing piece.
Connecting to our bodies is what really helps us to connect to more passion, clarity, vitality, joy and peace.
And movement is a great way to foster mind-body connection.
When you’re overwhelmed or stressed, movement practices help you move the anxiety you’re holding in your body.
When you feel uninspired or sluggish or like you’re hitting a mental wall, they provide a quick burst of energy and clarity and can connect you back to your creativity and intuition.
And dancing is one of my favorite forms of movement - whether it’s on a dance floor with friends or at home on my own - because I love to use music to elicit or connect to different emotions and dance to move or express the energy.
That’s why I invite you to my Mindful Movement Dance Break!
This is a space for you to take some time to reconnect to yourself, be playful, and add more movement to your day with some fun music - and you’ll get the side benefit of processing some emotions and releasing some endorphins. Plus, it can count as your cardio for the day 😉.
I’ll provide the music. I’m so excited to curate a special playlist for you to experience. And all you have to do is bring yourself, however you are - no prep required, no dance experience needed, no choreography to learn!

Here’s what to expect:
The dance break will be on Zoom. You’re welcome to keep your video off.
🌟 In the first 5-10 minutes, I’ll walk us through some slow breathing and gentle movements to settle you in and foster mind-body connection.
🌟 Then for about 30 minutes, you can turn up the volume and step away from your device. I’ll play the playlist, and you can dance and move with the music however you wish (within your mobility & capacity, of course - take breaks as needed!). There will definitely be some Bollywood, likely some showtunes, maybe some of my favs from the 90s & 2000s, and whatever else I’m inspired to include so that you experience a variety of beats, rhythms and vibes 💃
🌟 In the last 5 minutes, we’ll cool down together so you can complete the experience and feel more focused, clear and at peace as you head back into your day.
